The Donna Louise Trust
We designed a set of mugs inspired by some of the young adults who use the facilities at the Donna Louise. Anita visited them a number of times to help them with their artwork before the mugs went into production. Each one is handpainted at our studio and available to purchase from our intu Potteries shop, with £5 from each sale going to the wonderful work they do in our area.
Darren Smallwood is a very close friend of ours who has had two kidney transplants. A die hard Stoke City fan, he loves to airbrush paintings of the players which we sell in our intu Potteries shop with all the profits going directly to the Renal Research unit. His attention to detail is incredible.
The Douglas Macmillan Hospice
The ‘ Dougie Mac ‘ is a local hospice very close to our hearts, with a wonderful team working tirelessly in our area. We designed a range of mugs, coasters and brooches to sell in our intu Potteries shop with 15% of each sale going to the hospice, and also hold events to raise further money for them.
Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society
We created two vases as a donation to the Staffordshire Adults Autistic Society to be auctioned at a theatre event they are holding later in the year, to help raise money and awareness of autism in the area. intu Potteries where our shop is located, holds an autism hour every 4 weeks to make shopping an easier experience with dimmed lights and no music.
Helping the Community
We work very closely with Stoke City football club and the Community Trust Fund. They commissioned us to produce a large tile panel for their 150 year anniversary.
We sell a range of handpainted stoke city collectables in our shop in intu Potteries, and a percentage of each piece sold goes to their Community Trust Fund to help provide opportunities for young people all across our local area
We donated a large piece to be auctioned at the chairmans Charity Ball which raised an incredible £5000, even without any players signatures!!
Commemorating World War 1
A competition was run in schools across Staffordshire to commemorate World War 1 with drawings by local children. We transferred the winning entries from drawings onto tiles to create a tile panel which was unveiled in our shop by Neil 'nello' Baldwin of Stoke City F.C.
Smaller coasters of winning tiles were produced by Royal Stafford and sold in our shop to raise money for local charities including Arch North Staffordshire: helping victims of domestic abuse and Savana: helping victims of sexual abuse
The Royal British Legion
We have always enjoyed using poppies as a design subject as our reactive reds are perfect for producing rich, deep reds.
We are proud to be an official corporate partner with the Legion as Anita’s dad and Sam’s grandad both fought in the Second World War.
For each piece of our poppy ranges we sell, we donate 15% directly to them. We have also donated a large piece for their Warwickshire Poppy Ball in November to be auctioned to raise even more for them.
